Welcome to South Dade Billiards Academy
Billiards is a popular sport, as a result you can find many places to enjoy the game. Almost all of those places are public, usually bars or pool halls. Sometimes those establishments can be loud and distracting. Those places are fun for the casual pool player, but local national amateur teams also compete against each other in the same establishments. We provide those more serious players a facility to practice, compete, and learn away from those distractions. those players receive free table time from those traditional places, restricted only to the time they are competing. if they want to practice, they have to pay for time on the table. Whether it is coin operated bar tables or paying by the hour at a Pool hall the cost to play adds up. We provide a monthly membership at a flat rate to play as much as they would like, free of those distracting environments. We also only offer 9 foot regulation size tables, with swan simonis felt, to further distance us from the more traditional pool hall!
Our goal at South Dade Billiards Academy is to make every billiard player better, as well as build a stronger community. We have individuals available to provide insight into purchase of new equipment and maintaining or repairing older equipment. Currently we have 5 Billiards Trainers who will be scheduling one-on-one training sessions for members as well. All of our members are vetted by the Board of Directors and are issued an key fob to allow them entry to the facility.
